Upcoming collection: Catrice Cruise Couture

In May 2012 Catrice is coming out with a new collection called Cruise Couture. The theme of this collection is nautical and beachy. This is the description of this collection on their website:

Sunbathing on a yacht, diving into the deep blue ocean to cool off and heading to the most exclusive parties in town in the evening… welcome to St. Tropez! The Limited Edition “Cruise Couture” by CATRICE whips you away on a short trip to the Côte d’Azur in May 2012.
The world of colors combines nautical blue shades with fresh pink and coral nuances. In the fashion industry, this maritime color combination is called the “French New Wave” and this year, the interpretation by high-end fashion designers is even more luxurious and glamorous than ever before! The matching CATRICE look is an absolute must as beach wear and stylish city looks merge into one. Whether you’re heading for the beach or going on a shopping spree, these fresh colors in various blue nuances as well as coral, apricot and pink shades are stylish and elegant!

The products that are coming out are:

This palette doesn't have a specific name. On the website it says it's called 01. I'm not a huge fan of this palette and I won't purchase it since I do prefer more neutral colors. It's going to be 4.99€.

This gel eyeliner is called Nautica and it is in blue. I won't buy it since I don't wear gel eyeliners. It's going to be 3.99€.

This is a mascara called Lashes to kill waterproof volume mascara in Black. I might purchase this mascara since I am running out of the one I'm using rught now but I have to see some swatches before I will decide whether or not I will buy it. It's going to be 3.99€.

The top lipgloss is called Welcome to St. Tropez and it's a really nice baby pink color. The bottom lipgloss is called Coralista. I would imagine this would be a coral lipgloss judging by its name but it looks more like a mixture between pink and purple. I do like both lipgloss but I won't buy them since I already have too many lipgloss and I don't need more. It's going to be 3.79€ each.

The top lipstick is called Shy Flamingo and the bottom one is called Mrs Brightside. I already have a lot of lipsticks but I do really like this two. I especially like the top one so I might purchase it. I might even buy both lipsticks, I just have to see some swatches before I buy them. It's going to be 3.99€ each.

This blush is called Apricot Smoothie. I'm not a huge fan of this blush so I don't know if I will buy it. It's going to be 3.49€.

The names of these nailpolishes are (from top to bottom): Hi, Society; Jetsetter, Welcome to Pink Tropez, Feel the Yacht Beat and Nautica. I like Hi, Society the most so I will probably buy it. I don't like the other colors since I already have similar ones. It's going to be 2.49€ each.

The last item from this collection is a beauty bag. I might buy it. I just have to see how big it is first. It's going to be 3.49€.

What do you think about this collection?

30 day challenge: About me, day 8

Day 8: Someone who made your life hell, or treated you like shit.

I have to say I have been fortunated enough in my life and I do not have a person who treated me badly. Obviously everyone goes through bad times and bad things happen to every one but nothing that has happened to me so far wasn't so bad as to make my life a living hell.

Rant #1: Columbine High School massacre

I saw an article on Wikihow about Rachel's Challenge and I wanted to talk about it a little bit. Rachel was the first victim of Columbine High School massacre. If you don't know what I'm talking about, Columbine massacre happened in 1999. Two students, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed 12 students and 1 teacher and injured more than 20 people on April 20, 1999. Rachel wrote several diaries and really wanted to help other people. She said: ,,I have this theory that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion then it will start a chain reaction of the same.'' For more information about this challenge go to http://www.rachelschallenge.org.

While I was reading more about this massacre I started asking myself so many questions. What possesses someone to plan this massacre months in advance and then at the age of 17, 18 kill and injure innocent people? What goes through their minds to even think about doing something like this? Where did they get all the weapons? How can an underage person get all the guns and bombs they had without someone suspecting something bad is gonna happen?

I just don't understand why would someone harm innocent people and then commit suicide at the end.

Life is beautiful. Live every moment to the fullest because you never know when it's gonna end. Tell the people you love how you feel before it's too late. And for all of you who are going through hard times it DOES get better. Don't ever give up!

30 day challenge: About me, day 7

Day 7: Someone who has made your life worth living for.

My parents. I think I have the best parents in the world who love me and support me unconditionally and this is the reason they have made my life worth living for. Even when I'm going through hard time I just think of my parents and I know that no matter what they will always support and love me.

30 day challenge: About me, day 6

Day 6: Something you hope you never have to do.

I hope I'll never have to cope with the death of my loved ones. For me, even the thought of someone close to me dying scares me and I hope I will never have to cope with that.

30 day challenge: About me, day 5

Day 5: Something you hope to do in your life.

I hope that I will be able to travel around the world and see all the wonderful things and cultures there is to see. I also hope I will be able to help other people. I have wanted to go to Africa for the longest time and volunteer there and just help people there. I would also like to help homeless people and animals. I think there is way too much bad things happening on this world and people and animals deserve a better life.

30 day challenge: About me, day 4

Day 4: Something you have to forgive someone for.

I had this one friend and we've kown each other since forever. In sophomore year of high school, she started hanging out with certain people and she changed a lot. I thought we were really good friends but she kind of choose them instead of me which hurt a lot. I have to forgive her for that because I don't wanna live my life with grudges.

Favourite youtuber #1

My favorite youtuber for quite a while now has been PewDiePie. I stumbled across his channel few months ago. I don't have a clue how I actually found him but I'm glad I did. I watched all of his videos in few days and I can't wait for new videos to come each day. What I like about him is that he uploads videos every day, he is extremely funny and I'm almost sure you will love him. One thing I have to say is that sometimes he uses strong language so beware if you are young :) Here are some of his videos that I like a lot. Enjoy :)

30 day challenge: About me, day 3

Day 3: Something you have to forgive yourself for.

Not being perfect. Nowadays, media is constantly telling us how we should act, fell, look and it can have a bad impact especially on young girls. I have to remind myself that noone is perfect and I can't be either. We all have flaws and things we wish we could change about ourselves but this flaws make us unique and different from each other. Just imagine how it would be if we would all be perfect in this world. In my opinion it would be quite boring so embrace who you are because you only have one chance in life. Life is way too short so don't waste it living someone elses dream.

30 day challenge: About me, day 2

Day 2: Something you love about yourself.

One thing that I love about myself the most are my lips. I think I have quite full lips compared to other people. I don't have Angelina Jolie lips but they are a nice size and I love them.

Review: Catrice Prime and Fine Smoothing Refiner

Today I'm going to review a primer by Catrice. I was on the hunt for a face primer for quite some time and then I saw some good reviews about this primer and I've decided to purchase it. I don't remember the exact price but I think it was around 5€ and you get 14 grams of product or 0.49 oz. When you touch it, it feels like a mousse and it looks pink in the container but once you apply it, it's translucent.  It also says it's suppose to make your pores and lines invisible. It does have a strong smell but it doesn't bother me. Before I tell you my opinion about it I want to say that I have combination skin.

I love this primer. I love the texture and I love how smooth my face feels after I've applied it.  It also makes my pores less visible but you can still see the little lines under my eyes. I do have an oily T-zone but it doesn't make me shine more than I do without it. I even think it makes me shine less and it just makes my face look a bit dewy but not oily. It also makes my foundation last longer. One thing I would say is that you do use it up quite fast. I don't remember exactly but I think I've had this primer for about two months. I still have a little bit left but I think I'm going to run out of it in about a week. I also use this primer five times a week.

As you can see I'm running out of this primer and it looks weird because I apply it with a stippling brush and as a result it looks the way it does.

Overall I think it is a really good product and I think it's definitely worth buying. I would give it: .

What do you think about this product?
